Node mode

Now when you launch the wallet, the user will be asked to select an operating mode.

There are two:

  • Local
  • Remote

Local mode is designed to work with a node installed on the device.

Remote mode is designed to work with an RPC node. In this case, the user does not need to install a node on their device and synchronize the desired network. All requests will be sent to the remote node via JSON RPC.

Now let’s look at the remaining settings.

General settings

  • Node service Node service enable allows you to enable or disable node services to regulate the load on your PC.

Appearance

  • Window Scale A parameter scale value allows user to manually scale the window size, increase or lower it (1.0 is standard scale). The Reset window size button returns window scale to the standard value.

  • Edit menu This sections allows user to change tab appearance on the left side of the window.

  • Manage dApps In this section, you can watch decentralized applications connected to the wallet and tune them.

  • Connected with wallet This section stores your actual wallet connections.
